Community Fieldhouse to open October 7—a place for indoor fun

Grand Island, Neb. —The Community Fieldhouse opening weekend for the 2017-18 year will be Saturday, Oct. 7, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 8, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Fieldhouse first opened for business in 2011. It is located 525 E. Fonner Park Road.

Facility tours and refreshments will be available throughout the weekend.  During opening weekend only, annual passes will be $5 off. In addition, participants will be able to sign up for leagues, camps, and reserve indoor practice time.

The 70,000-square-foot facility features a brand new state-of-the-art synthetic turf field, 210 feet by 100 feet, perfect for indoor soccer, flag football, baseball and softball training, and more. The Fieldhouse also offers basketball courts, volleyball courts, batting cages, children’s playground area, archery, and event rooms. The Fieldhouse is a perfect place to hold birthday parties, recognition events, or meetings, as special party packages are available.
