Ball Fields: If you are a baseball or softball lover, Ryder Park is the place to be on a summer night. There are 5 softball fields and 1 baseball field total.

Concessions: There are 2 concession stands available during summer league games, one is located near the girls softball fields and the other at the legion baseball field.
Picnic Areas: There are numerous Picnic areas with tables and grills available.

If you're up for some sledding in the winter or some uphill/downhill running you are at the right place. Ryder Park is home to Tornado Hill. Tornado Hill is approximately 40 foot tall and covers the debris left in the wake of the seven tornadoes that rampaged through Grand Island on June 3, 1980.
