Grand Island, Neb. — We may be just under a month away from Halloween, but local children and their families won’t have to wait that long for an annual staple.
The Grand Island Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a howling good time for everyone with the return of the “Haunted Halloween Express” at the Stolley Park Railroad.
Rides will be offered on October 11 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and October 12 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at the depot for just $4 (ages 3 and up), while children 2 & under ride for free. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes as they come and enjoy the lights and sounds of Halloween. Concessions and face painting will also be available.
