Grand Island, Neb. — Musicians of all skill levels and music lovers are invited to join the Grand Island Public Library's Open Celtic Music Session, which will now be held monthly on Tuesday evenings.
You can enjoy an evening of jigs, reels, hornpipes, songs and more! Sessions are planned for 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. on February 11, March 11, April 8, May 13, June 3 and July 8 at the Grand Island Public Library. Additional sessions for the summer will be announced at a later date.
Participants interested in playing in this informal session should bring their own acoustic instrument and music stand. Listeners, singers and interested observers are also welcome. Tune books with lead sheets will be provided and are available upon request at the library, and the program is free to attend or participate in. Registration is not required.
The Grand Island Public Library serves both residents of the City of Grand Island and Hall County.
