The Grand Island Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (GIAMPO), in coordination with the City of Grand Island, invites the residents to attend a public open house to review the five year transit plan outlined in the DRAFT Summary Final Report for the Regional Transit Needs Assessment and Feasibility Study. Anyone with an interest in the region’s transit future is encouraged to attend the Thursday, November 9 meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Grand Island Public Library, 211 N. Washington St.
The open house meeting will have a short presentation at 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. After each presentation, residents will be encouraged to review exhibits describing the study planning process, 5-year fiscally constrained plan, 5-year illustrative plan, and implementation plan for the next two years. Comment sheets will be available for residents to provide their input.
