Range Safety Officer (RSO) Training

Heartland Public Shooting Park RSOs are trained according to the curriculum and standards set by the National Rifle Association.

Each of our RSOs carries NRA credentials, as a qualified Range Safety Officer.

The course covers Range Operations, Safety Briefings, Safe Gun Handling, and the safety rules and procedures specific to HPSP.

We have a volunteer program within our RSO program, that lets individuals volunteer and be trained as a Range Safety Officer and in return, we allow these volunteers to shoot at discounted rates on our ranges.
