Teen Read Week is October 17th-23rd
The theme this year is Books with Beat! To celebrate, there will be special promotions for teens ages 11-18 that use a library database such as Tutor.com for homework help, Mango to learn or improve language skills, and Points of View, a new database for debate and report topics/research!

Saturday, Oct 23rd Tween/Teen Bookclub! The first book is “The Capture” by Kathryn Lasky (Guardians of Ga’Hoole Series). Teens/Tweens will meet on Saturday, October 23rd from 3:00-4:30 pm for the bookclub kickoff as part of Teen Read Week. Teens will need to read the book ahead of time and will discuss “The Capture”, have fall treats, and make a Guardians of Ga’Hoole bookmark.
