Daily Carry & Home Defense Rifle Shoot

 This match is designed to test your skill with a handgun, pistol caliber carbine or modern sporting rifle (AR-15). Not all stages are designed to be shot with a rifle so bring your daily carry gun as well. Targets will be close. There will be no steel targets in this shoot since rifles are allowed.

Equipment Needed: One handgun .380 cal. or larger. Shooters may elect to shoot some stages with a rifle or pcc. No shotguns allowed at this match. You will need a handgun holster that covers the trigger guard. Off body carry is allowed but great care must be taken to avoid breaking the 180 degree rule. You will need a spare magazine for rifle or pcc and for your pistol. Handguns and magazines must be concealed by an outer garment on the appropriate stages. You must have a case for your rifle or pcc. Red dot sights are allowed.

Scoring: Time plus penalties. We will be using USPSA cardboard targets. A and C zone hits will count as zero down. D zone hits are +5 seconds (if not made up), misses are +10 seconds and no shoot targets (hostages) are +20 seconds. Procedural violations add 10 seconds to your score. Head shots must be inside of the edge perforations and above the shoulders.

What is not allowed: "gaming" the stage will cost you 100 seconds added to your score. No walk thru's. No turning on red dots or sighting when told to make ready. When told to make ready it's game on.

We will be shooting from inside and around a vehicle in this match.
