Rules
- Teen/tween entering art must be 10 years of age up to 18 years old as of July 1, 2022.
- Teens/tweens may enter up to 2 pieces of art; if a piece of art was entered in the children’s art show, it cannot be entered in the teen art contest.
- An entry form must be submitted for each entry.
- Each entry can be any size up to 3’ x 3’ (for two-dimensional art) or 3’x3’x2’ (for three-dimensional art.)
- All entries must be ready to hang or display in a glass case.
- All art entries will be photographed for inclusion on GIPL’s Virtual Community Art Show.
- First names of artists will be used.
- All art entries shall be available for the duration of the show unless previous arrangements have been made.
- Prizes will be awarded. Middle and High School winners will be chosen the first week of August. Winners will be contacted via phone.
- The Grand Island Public Library staff reserves the right to refuse any entry.
Artwork Submission
Artwork can be submitted beginning June 23, 2022. Entries will be accepted until July 22, 2022.
Retrieving Artwork and Prizes
Artwork and prizes must be picked up between August 8, 2022 and August 12, 2022.
The Library is not responsible for artwork left past August 17, 2022.
Prizes left after August 17 will be forfeited.
