CHI Health Clinic Neurosurgery (St. Francis) is hosting a free educational event for the community from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 27 in Meeting Room B at the Grand Island Public Library, 1124 W 2nd St. The event will feature Dr. Joshua Anderson, neurosurgeon with CHI Health, discussing the spine and common causes of back pain including medical and surgical options available. After the presentation, Dr. Anderson will be available to answer questions from participants.

Dr. Joshua Anderson, a neurosurgeon, attended medical school at the University of Kansas. He completed a surgical internship and a neurological surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Anderson also completed an enfolded six-month cerebrovascular rotation at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
