This book club meets the second Saturday of every month at 11:00 A.M. (unless rescheduled due to a holiday).
Local historians lead monthly discussions on eight different books featuring Hall County or Nebraska history. Membership to the book club is monthly, participants can choose which month/book is of interest to them and do not need to commit to the entire program series. A collaboration between the Hall County Historical Society and the Grand Island Public Library.
August's selection is A Warrior of the People: How Susan La Flesche Overcame Racial and Gender Inequality to Become America's First Indian Doctor by Joe Starita, led by Michelle Setlik.
