Speed Steel Competition Monthly

New shooters welcome! The Speed Steel Competition is a good way for new shooters to get started. And a great way to practice and have fun, even for experienced shooters. Divisions for center fire pistol, rimfire pistol and rimfire rifle. We will shoot five stages each month. Each stage has 5-7 steel targets ranging from 10” round steel plates to 18” x 24” steel plates placed from 7 to 35 yards away. All shot from one place (no movement during any string). Hit all plates in the shortest time you can, your time is your score. No limit on the number of shots. Try five times at each stage and your best 4 times count.

25-35rds per stage required if you don’t have a single miss. Recommend bringing at least 200 rounds. Bring enough magazines that you do not need to reload magazines during your 5 strings at each individual stage (we will make exceptions for new shooters with limited magazines). Holster that covers trigger required for center fire pistol. Case or bag required for rimfire pistol or rifle and PCC. Empty chamber indicators required for rimfire and PCC and are available at the office for $1.00 each at check-in.
