Older teens and adults ages 16 and up are invited to a special after-dark stargazing party! Please meet at the Camp Augustine Visitors' Center at 8:30.
Separate registration is required for this event. If you plan to attend both this event and the earlier Family Star Party, please be sure to register for both events.
Camp Augustine is located at the end of Camp Augustine Road off South Locust Street. Head south on Locust and turn right at Camp Augustine Road (just before the I-80 interchange). Follow the gravel road to the end and turn left to enter the camp through the main gates.
Turn left immediately as you enter the camp to park in the parking lot. Please dim your headlights as you enter.
At 8:45, we will turn off all outdoor lights at Camp Augustine to improve sky visibility. Due to safety reasons, this event is limited to patrons ages 16 and up.
Please note this program will be canceled in the event of rain or excessively cloudy weather. We will notify registrants via email if this is the case.
