Tuesday March 29 @ 2:00 pm
Edith Abbott Memorial Library Meeting Rooms
In conjunction with the library’s March celebration of "Women’s History Month", please join Irene Abernethy, Grand Island’s "dear friend", as she shares her stories and memorabilia of Evelyn Sharp, Ord’s "favorite daughter", and the youngest woman in the United States to hold a commercial pilot’s license.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about an inspirational woman whose much accomplished life was cut short at the age of 24.
For more information please contact Kathleen Nonneman at 385-5333 ext. 125.
