Want to learn more about severe weather and become part of our local weather emergency response?
We invite you to attend our annual Severe Weather Awareness Presentation and learn how to identify and report severe weather to the National Weather Service. Topics include:
- National Weather Service products such as Outlooks, Watches and Warnings,
- Recognzing cloud types
- Learning the parts of a severe thunderstorm, and
- Reporting information to local authorities.
The Presentation will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers, Wednesday March 28, 6:30 pm.
