Victorian Tea Party, September 26, 2010 Annual event to honor library namesake, Edith Abbott on or near her birthday, 9/26/1876, and to acquaint 3rd and 4th grade girls with her important life work as a social activist. Girls will learn how her accomplishments have impacted their own lives over one hundred years later. Girls must call to pre-register. Space is limited. Girls may dress up (Victorian dress or a dress and bring a doll or teddy bear)
