Lapsits are every Monday from 10:15-11:00 a.m. for children 1 -2 years old.  This is an interactive play time for preschool children who learn primarily through their senses during play. Children will enjoy the use of the library’s self discovery toy collection and will find many learning opportunities available to them during this session. Additional activities may include short stories, music,  fingerplays, crafts, and more. The library models the Every Child Ready to Read Initiative of the American Library Association.  Every Child Ready to Read Encourages parents and other caregivers to model and teach Reading, Writing, Playing, Singing, and Talking.
