This 2014 year, Nebraska has chosen the book "Once Upon a Town: The Miracle of the North Platte Canteen" by Bob Greene as its "One Book One Nebraska "read."
Come down to the library and meet Rosalie Lippincott as she talks about her experiences of working at the North Platte Canteen during her teen years serving meals to World War II U.S. service members who passed through on troop trains.
