Be creative and join us for a free workshop for both adults and children at the Grand Island Public Library!
In connection with Sheldon Statewide 2013-2014 exhibition "Picturing Nebraska" (On display in the library's Art Alcove April 7 - May 7, 2014), work with University of Nebraska-Lincoln Associate Professor of Art Elizabeth Ingraham on her project "Mapping Nebraska." Tell us your story about what Nebraska means to you using your own words, visual descriptions, photographs, fabrics, and or paper or use the supplies that will be provided.
Your work will be part of a special exhibition at the Sheldon that will bring Ingraham's project together with responses from people all across the state. The event is open to adults and children and will be held in Meeting rooms ABC.
