A permit is required to from the City Fire Prevention Division to discharge public display fireworks exhibitions.  There is a fee of $220 for the permit and process.  Once registered with the State Fire Marshal's Office  and an application is made at the State level, an application must also be made locally at Grand Island Fire Marshal's Office.
