Applications to install or remove fuel tanks are to be made with the Grand Island Fire Department.  GIFD is delegated by the State Fire Marshal's Fuels Division.  The rules and regulations of the State "Title 158 & 159" are enforced by City Fire.

Periodic inspections of fuel dispensing and fuel storage facilitiues are made by the Grand Island Fire Department as well.  Dispensing "fuel stations" are required to have on site all applicable documentation as required by Title 158 & Title 159.
