The City of Grand Island performs an annual maintenance program, which includes a mill and overlay of the existing asphalt roadways.

Section #2– 10^th Street; Eddy Street to Sycamore Street
Section #3– Broadwell Avenue; Waugh Street to College Street
Section #4– Eddy Street; 4^th Street to 10^th Street
Section #5- Eddy Street; 10^th Street to 18^th Street
Section #6- Sycamore Street; 4^th Street to 10^th Street

 On March 12, 2024 via Resolution No. 2024-71, City Council approved the bid award of 2024 Asphalt Resurfacing Project No. 2024-AC-1 in the amount of $689.357.85 to Gary Smith Construction Co., Inc. of Grand Island, Nebraska.
