Chip Seal is the sprayed application of asphaltic material with a covering of aggregate, which is intended to add additional wearing surface and surface seal to roadways.

Section #1- 4^th Street; Burlington Railroad to Beal Street
Section #2- 4^th Street; Congdon Avenue to 7^th Street
Section #3- Sky Park Road; 7^th Street to White Cloud Road
Section #4- Airport Road; City Limits to Sky Park Road

On March 12, 2024, via Resolution No. 2024-72, City Council approved the award of Chip Seal Project No. 2024-CS-1 in the amount of $200,710.25 to Sta-Bilt Construction Company of Harlan, Iowa
