The City of Grand Island Utilities Division maintain and repair the street lights.  To report a street light that is out or blinking, you can contact Phelps Control Center at (308) 385-5461, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Information requested from you will include the location of the street light (street location or number on the pole), and your name and phone number in case we need to call you for further description of the problem.  The street light can usually be repaired within five days.
