Central District Health Board

An Interlocal Agreement with Hall, Hamilton and Merrick Counties effective April 2, 2002 was entered into to create the Central District Health Department. The purpose of the Central District Health Department Board is to enact rules and regulations for the protection of public health in Hall, Hamilton and Merrick Counties .

Board representatives serve a 3-year term with the option of serving a second 3-year term if reappointed. Members cannot serve more than two consecutive 3-year terms. The City Council representative serves a 3-year term, for no more th an two consecutive terms. Meetings are held monthly, on the 2nd Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the Central District Health Department, 1137 S. Locust Street.
