Railside BID
Ordinance #9700 approved by the City Council on August 14, 2018 establishes Railside Business Improvement District pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. Ā§19-40. The purpose of the Railside Business Improvement District Board is to oversee all activities, whether physical or promotional, relating to the economic welfare of Central Business District, whitin the confines of the boundaries of the Railside Special Assessment District, and to make recommendations to the City Council on decisions impacting this area of the community. The Board shall consist of ten members. Board members must be property or business owners or operators or residents within the boundaries of the district and are appointed by the Mayor with Council approval.
The district shall become effective on October 1, 2018.
Meetings are held the third Thursday of every month.
