Fleet Services

Fleet Services is an established Internal Service division providing equipment and vehicle services to over 500 vehicles/equipment owned by City Departments.  Primary purposes being repair of production equipment that is needed to perform services and functions within each division, provide equipment repairs during emergencies (24/7), and repair security sensitive equipment (such as police vehicles).

The 6,000 square foot shop houses seven bays, a large truck service pit, and a welding/fabrication area.         

Fleet Services purchases parts and supplies to make repairs, purchases and dispenses fuel for the Cityā€™s fleet, as well as administers a preventive maintenance program. 

The Repair Shop Mechanics are all ASE trained. Included in these certifications are an ASE Master Automotive Technician and an ASE Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician.

"State Bid" (Nebraska State Purchasing Bureau) - To view the State of Nebraska Contracts click link and then go to State Contracts.  To search for specific key words use CNTRL + F and then type the keyword and ENTER.  Each contract awarded will have the vendors contact information, so specific questions regarding the items can be directed to them.  General questions can be sent to the State Buyer whose information is found by clicking Buyer Information from the page above.
