Concrete Pad at Wastewater Treatment Plant

The Wastewater Division and Public Works Engineering Division is incorporating a concrete pad, with two (2) basins, and drainage system to the Headworks at the City of Grand Island Water Reuse and Recovery Facility.  Customers that submit the appropriate hazardous waste testing results may dump greasy and grimy loads at the new site so that the load may be dewatered, and the leachate property treated onsite.  The waste will then be bulked and taken to the landfill.
