Sales Tax Report
Effective April 1, 2019 the City of Grand Island collects a 2% tax on sales within the City which is paid to the state by businesses and then remitted back to the City.
An increase was voted on and approved on May 11, 2004. Ordinance No. 8910 was officially enacted May 25, 2004.
An increase was voted on and approved on November 6, 2018. Ordinance No. 9714 was officially enacted November 20, 2018.
