Urgent Collection System Rehabilitation - Various Locations

The Wastewater Division has taken proactive measures in identifying and prioritizing portions of the collection system that are in urgent need of repair and replacement due to failing infrastructure.  The City is looking to employ trenchless rehabilitation methods and open-cut point repairs to the areas in most need.  Lining the Sanitary Sewer Collection System near Stolley Park Road and Spring Road and replacing Sanitary Sewer Manholes in Locust Street and Phoenix Avenue are just two of the jobs in the contract.

On May 23, 2017 City Council awarded Project 2017-S-2A to Diamond Engineering Company of Grand Island, Nebraska in the total amount of $304,380.16.
