Weavers

Grand Island, Neb. — A group of diverse fiber artists focused on preserving the fiber arts for their communities, families and themselves will be demonstrating different fiber arts in the lobby of the Grand Island Public Library this weekend.

On Saturday, October 5 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., the Prairie Fibers Weavers & Spinners Guild of Nebraska will be performing live spinning and weaving demonstrations. Attendees can learn about spinning, weaving and various other fiber arts.

The Grand Island Public Library serves both residents of the City of Grand Island and Hall County. Anyone who lives in or owns property anywhere within Hall County may apply for a library card at no cost.
