Grand Island, Neb. — As winter inches closer, the Grand Island Parks & Recreation Department is seemingly getting busier.
With the chill in the air comes a variety of activities to keep you active during the wintry months ahead. Registration windows have officially opened for teams to sign up for the following leagues:

Youth Flag Football Friday, January 3
Adult Volleyball Monday, December 23
Adult Basketball Sunday, January 5
Adult Coed 5v5 Soccer Wednesday, December 18
High School Soccer Friday, December 20
